runPossible

Now is the best time to get involved! Sign up on runpossible.sweatysheep.com to join our Wednesday morning runs at 6:00AM every week! We meet at Hotel Louisville (Wayside Christian Mission) to inspire and be inspired by some amazing people from Wayside as we run and walk together. Everyone’s welcome (slow or fast!), and if you can’t make it on Wednesday mornings, just hit the donation button to the right to buy a pair of shoes for one of the participants in need!

What a Trip!

The Sweaty Sheep mission trip to Puerto Rico was a success, and the Puerto Rico Marathon is behind us. But there are great things in our future! The running team planners are putting together a great opportunity with Wayside Christian Mission and Saint Vincent de Paul to partner with people in Louisville who are going through homelessness so that, through running, we can transform each other’s lives and make Louisville a better place. It’s the Possibility City, and through our new group “runPossible” we’ll make that possibility real for everyone, even the most disadvantaged among us! Want to get involved? Go to runPossible.sweatysheep.com to find out more!

THANK YOU VOLUNTEERS!

Thanks to everyone who came out and showed some love to the Ironman athletes as they stopped by Bike Special Needs. Without all those volunteers, it couldn’t have happened! It’s our prayer that your “work” on Sunday was not work, but worship and service. All the times that the athletes thanked you for your work, that sense of accomplishment you felt at sending an athlete on their way, the sympathy and love you felt for athletes who were having a hard time on the course, all of that is an experience of the divine! Keep it with you all year, and get ready to come back for more! we hope to do Bike Special Needs again next year – but if that’s not soon enough, watch our Facebook page for info on the Merry Christmas 5K and homeless benefit on December 21st!
